Hey Everyone!! I hope your summer has been great!! Mine has been fast paced and filled with lots of music related events so far:) I have started the college search/selection process and have visited a few places, including Oberlin College and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Their campuses were beautiful, and I really liked one teacher in particular.
I spent last week at the Arthur Russell Strings Program in Southwest Harbor, Maine, where I performed a couple awesome pieces and met some really cool people:) It’s hard to find a more beautiful location than Southwest Harbor!!
A few weeks ago, Gerry Slavet, CEO of FTT, asked me and Anna to be part of a concert he was organizing for his summer hometown community of Mount Vernon, Maine. We had a blast… hanging with FTT kids and staff is always the best!! In addition, the community of Mount Vernon couldn’t have been more welcoming and supportive.
