Some of you may know us, some of you don’t. We are 5 wonderful kids who are here to play music for you. This group is one of five in FTT’s Center for the Development of Arts Leaders, or CDAL for short. You may have heard of From the Top; it’s a program on NPR that showcases talented young musicians. But their Center for the Development of Arts Leaders program is focused on bringing music into the communities of Boston. We’ve been coming to the Lodge since last winter. We saw that all of you had plenty of opportunities to listen to music, but no opportunities to take part in the joy that is making music. That’s why this fall we’ve planned many exciting interactive events that we want all of you to be a part of, and we’ll keep you posted on those as they come closer. But the main thing is we’re not here to play background music. We’re here to provide fun musical experiences that will help you forget about the busyness and the stress of the world around you. Please ask questions and talk to us! We would love to get to know you. And don’t be shy, because we definitely won’t be. We’re here to take you on a musical journey, and we hope you’ll come with us.
